I'm modeling a home with PT plywood foundation and I'm running into some unclear instructions between the HOT2000 User Guide and the workaround document. 

Section 7.9.1.2 indicates that for wooden foundations we use the most appropriate code based on what we determine on site.

However, in the Work Around Guide item 1.1.36 seems to state that we should instead only use BWIA_1. My initial interpretation of 1.1.36 was that if you intended to use BWIN_1 you should instead use BWIA_1, but then they say "for basements constructed of wood". Has anyone run into this and has gotten some clarification?

If the intention is that all wood foundations be modelled with BWIA_1 the HOT2000 User Guide should just say as much.
