SB-12 compliance reports

    Good afternoon everyone,

Does anyone have a sample of an SB-12 performance compliance report they would be willing to share? The exact wording from the Energy Efficiency Design Summary guide states "The designer must use recognized energy simulation software (such as HOT2000) and submit documents which show the annual energy use of the proposed building is equal to or less than a referenced building package" - but it doesn't provide a sample of what those documents look like. Are the HOIS or EnerGuide Label part of these documents, is the house report part of this package, or is a custom word/excel document typically created?

Are there any courses, training or guides for generating these SB-12 reports that anyone can share?

    Thanks very much!

Hi Adam, You should be using the general mode for SB12 performance compliance (unless you are going through the ENERGY STAR Performance compliance path, in which case it should be set to Ontario Reference House since you are in Ontario). If you want to share a H2K file with me, I will create the reports for you.

    Regards,

    Hi Adam,

We usually just provide the Full Reports from each h2k file.
