GHG reduction figures for reference house (MLI Select)

Hello,

I'm working on a new construction project for the MLI Select program and I'm having a hard time determining the GHG reductions of the proposed building vs. the reference house, as the outputs in H2K aren't correct.

Has anyone run into this before, or knows where to get the reference house GHG emission numbers?

Hi Brett - the BC Step Code Calculator has a conversion from GJ/year to GHG. You can use that as a rough estimate, which includes estimations for both Proposed and Reference home GHG/year.

if you have a Hot2000 file you can extract the proposed GHG using the Step Code calculator, which is just a matter of hitting a button on the spreadsheet.
