H2K deletes windows when using SAVE button

    HI All,

I have a couple of our team members having some challenges with H2K. Usually, our team members model all the geometry and the HVAC first and keep the window inputs for last, as they are time consuming. They usually save the file once they have completed those steps prior to entering windows. That being said, it happened serval times that when hitting the SAVE BUTTON, the software shut down and deleted all the window inputs. has anyone encountered this? would you have an idea of why this happens?

I personally have not seen that or had an issue but are you using code libraries?  Opening a base file that has windows in it already? Which version?  Is this the base or the upgrades?

I do some modeling of windows in tree view and finish all of them together in the list view. When I was upgrading glass block and changing their energy star value from 0 to 1, the file was getting crashed. It happened with me for 2 times when I lost the complete file. So I think you should check for glass block. Other than that, I do not see any reason of file crash for now.

Had this happen to me last week.  First time ever.  I cranked through the file pretty quick and didn't do many intermittent saves.  I usually do windows last, and when I hit save it crashed and I lost most of my inputs.  Strangely, it seemed to have saved my heating systems inputs but not my initial tombstone data that I put in first... so it might be an issue with the calculations that the software does before the save and how the software writes the file.  I didn't explore it much as I was in a hurry, but certainly strange behaviour.
