Tax roll number

Is the tax roll number optional for performing the basic and renovation upgrade service?  Before studying for the EA exam, I had energy audits done in the past.  None of them, including one done in March of 2021, required a copy of our home tax bill.
Even if I was to record the "tax roll number" in Hot2000, what number would I use?  There's no definition in the ERS technical procedures v15.10.  In my municipality our bill shows a tax account, and an assessment number.  We also have a provincially-assigned property ID.

The tax number is specific to the Greener Homes program to verify that the homeowner is eligible for the rebates. They provide this when they - not you - sign up for the program through the NRCan homeowner portal.

It is also required for the Enbridge rebate programs.
