    So... new modeling for ASHP...

HSPF for models is listed as region 4 (but region is often unstated on specs), but we are to convert to region 5. It may be easier for homeowners to shop around with the HSPF in region 4 as we are using US databases, but this needs to be clear on all documentation and reports. The report generator (RUR) can only use HSPF but does not clarify region.

NRCan has also requested we use COP for modeling accuracy, including their own excel to calculate adjusted capacity and COP with H2K. There is no direct correlation to the HSPF and COP. How is the homeowner to understand?

Which capacity is meant to determine if the whole home is serviced by the system? The manufacturer specs or the adjusted capacity?

There is a new check box for ccASHP in the heating section with multiple inputs, but has not been referenced in the new tech specs. What is it's purpose and what performance specs are we to use? And from where? It has HSPF and COP listed.

A little clarification and some consistency would be helpful.
