When evaluating the energy performance of a home, the windows are a primary contributor or detractor to the energy performance of the overall envelope. The type of low-e coating in the window can greatly impact the Insulating value (U-Value) of the window, and even more so the Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) of the window. Both of these values have a substantial impact on the energy rating you calculate for a given home.

Join Mark Imbrock, VP of the EDTM, to learn how these tools can be used to analyze windows quickly and efficiently to estimate the make-up and performance of a given window.

We will be highlighting the Glass-Chek ELITE (#GC3200) and the newly revised Window Energy Profiler (#WP4501), along with the handy window performance reference charts that come supplied with each.
