This is the second webinar on NRCan's proposed code changes.

As an EA it is important to be aware of upcoming code changes, how they will impact your work, and how you can get involved in making them better.

Alex Bols, Senior Technical Advisor, Canadian Home Builders’ Association (CHBA), and Mark Rosen MEA, Director of Building Science, Building Knowledge Canada  - both of whom are actively involved with the building code standing committees, will provide an update on what’s proposed to be included in the NBC 2025 with a focus on the proposed changes that are currently out for public review  (e.g., the use of NLR vs ACH) as well as the rationale behind these changes and how they will impact EAs - with those working with new construction and existing homes.

The webinar will also highlight the progress, requirements and timing of the upcoming codes specific to retrofits as well as the operational and embodied carbon.

This event is open to CACEA members (free) and non-members ($25+).
