Taken from an EAs perspective, Mark Bernhardt, President of Bernhardt Contracting Ltd. and CEO of Energy Code Solutions, will dig into some of the details of BC Building Code as it relates specifically to the scope of an EA. Details such as how ventilation systems should be modeled and documented will be discussed as well as other common errors. Mark will also address items of note in the new BC Building Code which comes into effect on March 8, 2024.
The Team at Bernhardt Contracting have developed strategies for delivering buildings to the highest steps of the building code with minimal or even lower costs. This is also done without charging clients extra for higher steps. Mark will share how they are able to accomplish this with the aim to expand the kinds of options EAs provide to their clients.
