The Integrated Design Process (IDP) is a highly collaborative approach to achieving sustainable (low energy, low carbon) practices and outcomes for both new construction and existing homes. It ensures delivery of affordable, durable, healthy homes for Canadians.
CACEA is offering an interactive training program designed to provide comprehensive information about the IDP. The program places a strong emphasis on facilitation skills, equipping participants with the tools and techniques needed to lead and effectively guide this crucial process.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
Anyone interested in providing IDP facilitation services such as EAs, designers, architects, renovators, and builders.
PROGRAM FEES*: Includes three training days; post-training student-lead sessions; “IDP Handbook”; certificate of completion and listing on CACEA website (CACEA members only) for successful candidates.

Amelie and Barb are highly regarded industry trainers and subject matter experts, renowned for their leadership and expertise. They are actively engaged in facilitating (IDPs and empowering their clients to make informed and impactful decisions.
REGISTRATION FEES:
CACEA Member: $2,600 + provincial tax*
CORPORATE CACEA Member: $2,210 + provincial tax*
Non-Member: $2,800 + provincial tax*
Cancellation Policy: A $10 administrative fee will be issued for cancellations before October 19, 2026. No refunds for cancellations as of October 19, 2026.
CECs = 16 / CPDs = 16 (full program completion required). Partial CECs/CPDs will not be issued.
